This project was a collaboration between myself, Eduweb (a locally-based educational web development company) and staff at the Brooklyn Museum. Street to Studio was developed as an accompaniment to a traveling exhibition about artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Designed specifically to introduce teenagers to Basquiat's art, the site explores Basquiat's paintings and the details of his life. Through a digital painting tool and online discussion forum, teens can gain insights into Basquiat's life and world view—while reflecting upon their own.
